The Full Conceal FC M3D(G19) and FC M3S(G43) hit all those fun spots for us because we're Glock guys and we dig interesting mechanical stuff... and folding Glock pistols are especially interesting. In fact, the Full Conceal M3D(G19) and M3S(G43) were two of the coolest things we've ever handled at SHOT. Frankly, they belong in a Bond movie (James Bond, 007). Full disclosure up front, DR hasn't used them yet, but if they're as reliable and durable as Full Conceal President/CEO Mike Pils claims, we love them. DR's main concern with the guns was their unique proprietary (and we assume proprietary) forward-folding flat trigger system, but Mr. Pils assured us that the trigger is reliable and durable and works like a charm. He also discussed how the trigger system remains completely secure while the gun is cocked and when the gun is cocked, as it is apparently impossible to accidentally engage in either situation. The DR also really liked how the magazine(s) could be safely fed into the respective magwells(magwells) of the FC M3D(G19) and M3S(G43) every time without having to place them precisely beforehand. In this sense, there is a large margin (possibility of error) built into the system (folded grip / magazine position). We dug it. DR was also impressed with how quickly and easily the Full Conceal M3D(G19) and M3S(G43) can be deployed from the front pocket of the pants and how well they hide in the pocket when folded, even with the FC M3D(G19) 33 round mag. Basically, they print like a large cell phone in your pocket. Quite chilly. Full also demonstrated how to keep weapons ready if you are in a development situation. This can be seen in one of (DR's) videos where he demonstrates the system below. For maximum velocity, the DR would have M3d(G19) or M35D(G19) or M3S(G43) chambered, which Mr. Full says is completely safe, meaning as safe or safer than a standard G19 or G43, especially if guns are in the folded position. Again, when deployed/unassembled, Mr. Full told DR that Full CONceal folding Glocks are as safe as standard Glock pistols. However, for reasons of responsibility, we (DR) do not support the reader's opinion. That's exactly what WE would do ourselves, because we want the maximum speed of engagement in a real armed (self-defense) confrontation. Finally, DR just likes the look of folded case and used/unfolded guns. The Full Conceal folding mechanism (including the folding trigger guard) and the folding trigger are really well designed and the overall package looks really good. It's a sleek design. Needless to say, Defense Review would love to put both guns (M3D(G19) and M3S(G43)) into the very capable hands of DR writer/contributor and Chief New Product Tester Jeff Gurwitch for some serious running and shooting. , sometime in the not-too-distant future, and will report back to our readers on my experiences with them.
